Ashland’s 400 trees, some dating back to Henry Clay’s time, are an important part of the history of the Ashland Estate and of Lexington. Last year’s first-time-ever Adopt-a-Tree program helped care for over 80 of these trees. This year, you can Adopt-a-Tree for $100, $200, or $500 which provides needed pruning and care.
Community Care Day
Join us Saturday, April 26 from 1:00 – 4:00 and help make a difference! Many of you joined us last August for this day and helped make a huge improvement to our grounds by removing weeds from around trees and clearing debris. Make sure to wear long sleeves and gloves and bring clippers and rakes.
