Full-length portrait depicting Clay in his uniform at the Signing of the Treaty of Ghent, 1814.  Clay is wearing a blue tailcoat with high collar trimmed with decorative gold embroidery, white trouser, white shirt and cravat, and black shoes. He is pulling a white glove on his right hand and is standing in front of a banister and column. Red carptet on the floor and gray background.
