Ashland remains committed to providing a safe, socially distanced wedding venue for all couples. With our ample grounds, you can be sure to find a beautiful setting for your special day.
Though we remain open for weddings, we will always abide by the current recommendations for gatherings from the Governor and the CDC. As with all re-opening plans, this may be subject to change depending on if Kentucky experiences a spike in cases.
Currently and for the foreseeable future, here are the guidelines we will be enforcing, though we understand that these guidelines may not be 100% applicable to all groups. We will discuss them on a case by case basis.
- We prefer all events to be no more than 50 people. Social distancing and masking will still be in effect regardless of group size.
- All guests who do not live in the same quarantine household must remain a minimum of six feet away from other guests at all times. This includes for any photos taken at the event. The officiant also needs to remain at least six feet away from the couple. The couple do not have to be six feet away from each other.
- Guests need to wear masks at all times while in public, especially when entering any buildings and if they believe they will be within six feet of another guest not from their household for any reason. Masks may be removed when eating or drinking.
As always, don’t hesitate to reach out to Kate Heil if you have any questions, need clarification, or would like to book. We know this isn’t the ideal wedding situation for anyone, but we want to provide a beautiful, safe setting for our couples no matter the circumstances.
