The Henry Clay Foundation, in partnership with Kentucky Humanities, Kentucky Book Festival, Tallgrass Farm Foundation, and Wellcare, presents H. W. Brands, author of the best-selling novel Heirs of the Founders: Henry Clay, John Calhoun and Daniel Webster, the Second Generation of American Giants. Brands will discuss Kentucky’s own political giant, Henry Clay, who battled to complete the unfinished work of the Founding Fathers and decide the future of our democracy.
For an admission price of $50, attendees will receive a single copy of his newest book, Founding Partisans: Hamilton, Madison, Jefferson, Adams and The Brawling Birth of American Politics, a signature cocktail & appetizer, book signing, photo op with the author, and entry into the tent for the main presentation and discussion. An additional ticket for couples not desiring an extra book is $35.00.
