On August 3rd at 11:00 am, the public is invited to meet the artist and experience our three new temporary sculpture installations on the ideal landscape of the Henry Clay Estate. Ashland, The Henry Clay Estate is in the process of creating an African American History tour set to launch in the fall of 2019. While staff's research has yielded stories of courage, resilience, and heartbreak, we hope to find more stories to add nuance to this narrative. Ashland hopes to present a more inclusive and accurate interpretation about all life at Ashland using individual storytelling. Living History: Frontier to Farm

Ashland is host to hundreds of students from area High Schools for this day when history comes alive through performances, demonstrations, livestock, music, exhibits and open house tours. Wedding

Private wedding will be going on from 4:00 pm-10:00 pm. The house will be open for regular tours during the day (10:00-4:00) and the grounds will be open as usual from dawn to dusk. However, we ask that all photographers refrain from being on site during this private event. Henry Clay’s Hemp Social

Hemp was a lucrative crop for Clay and more recently, Kentucky led the charge in legalizing its production. This year, our event takes on a new theme! We'll feature a hemp-themed cocktails/mocktails competition, hemp vendors and a Silent Auction! Tickets are $25 in advance and $35 at the door. Adopt-A-Tree & Fall Clean-Up
