The Henry Clay Memorial Foundation (Ashland, The Henry Clay Estate) is committed to respecting the privacy of its guests and donors, whether payments and/or donations are made on-site, online, via mobile phone, by mail or another method.

Collection and Use
The Foundation collects certain personally identifiable information from its guests and donors in order to provide services, products or information.  Such personally identifiable information may include full name, email address, mailing address, telephone number and credit card information. The Foundation may also use personally identifiable information to tell guests and/or donors about services and/or products offered by the Foundation.

Data Security
The Henry Clay Memorial Foundation protects the security of credit card transactions using measures such as access controls, network firewalls and physical security. These measures make it difficult for third parties to intercept the credit card information of guests and donors. In accepting payments via credit card, the Foundation may share personally identifiable information with third-party credit card processors. These third-party vendors use encryption and other security measures to secure guests’ and donors’ personally identifiable information and are prohibited from using such information for any other purpose.

Data Sharing
The Henry Clay Memorial Foundation will not sell, share or trade any guests’ or donors’ personally identifiable information with any entity other than Foundation vendors. In addition, the Foundation will not send mailings to any donors on behalf of other organizations, unless a donor has given specific permission to do so.

The Foundation has vendors that assist with processing mailings (traditional and email) related to the Ashland calendar of events and donation opportunities. These vendors periodically have access to guest and donor addresses (email and/or street address) and are permitted to use these addresses only to execute mailings on behalf of the Foundation.

Opt-out Provision
Guests and donors may opt out of receiving promotional email or postal communications from the Henry Clay Memorial Foundation by following the instructions in those messages or contacting info@henryclay.org

Children and Privacy
This website is not directed at children, and it is not intended that we collect personally identifiable information from children. If you are a parent or guardian of a child who you know to has provided personally identifiable information to the Foundation, we ask that you contact us at info@henryclay.org and request that such information be deleted.
