Lexington’s Painted Horses – 2010

Horse Mania 2010 galloped into Lexington, Kentucky, bringing 82 painted horses to the city’s streets and 57 foals and horses to its public libraries.  This book provides a full-color photographic tour by Lexington-based art photographer Mary S. Rezny.  Studio portraits of each horse capture the creativity and inspiration each artist brought to the project, while the photos of the horse as they appeared in their respective locations allow the reader to (re)capture the enthusiastic spirit of this exciting public art project.
