Second Century Fund

The year 2026 will represent the 100th anniversary of the establishment of The Henry Clay Memorial Foundation.  Nanette McDowell Bullock established the Foundation to protect the Henry Clay Estate at Ashland and promote the legacy of Henry Clay and his love for Kentucky and his country.

To ensure the future sustainability of Ashland, the Board of Directors at the Henry Clay Memorial Foundation have established the Second Century Fund with a goal of $10 million raised by the 100th anniversary in 2026.

The Second Century Fund is a restricted endowment that currently provides income and resources for the care and upkeep of Ashland and its mission.

The fund currently has a value of $3,876,525 as of March 31, 2024.

Please consider a contribution to the Second Century Fund as we pursue the goal of $10 million by 2026.   The Foundation also publicly recognizes future estate gifts if Ashland is designated in estate planning documents.
