History buffs from all over the country flock to the Henry Clay Estate to step back in time and experience what life was like in the 1800s.

But after Friday’s fierce weather, it’s the present day at the top of everyone’s mind who works on the grounds.

“Like everybody else in Central Kentucky, you know we were pummeled by the rain and the wind, and the wind is the major culprit here,” said Jim Clark, Executive Director of the Henry Clay Memorial Foundation.
