Publicly Traded Stocks and Mutual Funds
These assets, particularly ones that have appreciated in value, can help you avoid capital gains while also receiving a charitable deduction. Qualified Charitable Distribution
Donors 70 ½ and older may distribute up to $100,000 from their IRA and exclude it from gross income as a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD). Distributions for the benefit of Ashland can be coordinated through Blue Grass Community Foundation here.
